L. Richey In 1987, Brad began working for City Scape Homes, Inc., a construction company that he co-founded for the purpose of renovating income property. He was responsible for the negotiation and acquisition of income property along with overseeing the rehabilitation of the newly acquired buildings, requiring him to work closely with Indianapolis Metropolitan Development, Division of Economic Housing and State Housing Authority. After the completion of this project, Brad started his own construction company and began building new homes. Soon, a commercial division was added that included significant involvement in two city projects, along with the interior finishing of many commercial tenant spaces. In 1996, Brad formed Monument Construction, Inc. and worked as Project Manager for the construction or redevelopment of over ninety units. These projects were completed over the course of the next sixteen months and were located in two different designated Historic neighborhoods in Indianapolis. Part of the projects completed during this period included the complete renovation of three qualified historic buildings that benefited from Federal and State of Indiana historic tax credits. Over seventeen years experience in both commercial and residential construction has given Brad a well-rounded and diverse background. He is a firm believer in carrying out a theme or concept to its fullest and complete extent. His project management and marketing skills, along with his attention to detail are evident in the projects he has completed.
